How does it work?
Every 2018 client and person subscribed to the Newsletter before February 1, 2019 will receive $50 credit towards a lifestyle session collection of $300 or more. This credit cannot be transferred or combined with any other offer. One credit per household please.
For every client you refer that books a $300+ package, you will receive another $50 credit towards your own $300+ package. You may combine referral credits and the initial Newsletter credit mentioned above. So in order to receive a free session for yourself, you will need to refer 5 separate clients who choose a $300 package or above. Credits cannot be used for a session completed before they are earned and they have no cash value. All credits expire 1 year after they are earned.
Credits are tracked by email so don't stress about keeping track on your own. Just have your referrals mention your email when booking!

Session Location Ideas
One of the most common questions I get is "Where should we have our photos taken?"
These are some of my favorite spots in the Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Mequon areas for lifestyle family photos!
Big Bay Beach
5000 N Lake Dr, Whitefish Bay, WI 53217
Big Bay Beach is located in Whitefish Bay, right off of Lake Drive. It's a tucked away small beach that is great for families with smaller littles. You can access the beach without having to climb a lot of stairs and has an easy, short winding, paved walkway down to the water. The water has been very high the past few Summers, which has made for great dramatic photos. The kids also love it. It is a dog friendly beach so it is a great option for those who want to include their dog in family photos.
1870 E Fox Ln, Fox Point, WI 53217
Doctors Park is also located right off of Lake Drive in Milwaukee, but more North in the village of Fox Point. If you're looking for those awesome driftwood teepees that magically pop up on the beach, you can almost guarantee that there will be a few at this beach. It can be a difficult walk back up to the parking area so I do not suggest it for those who have difficulty walking or when you want to bring a lot of items to your session. It can also be extremely crowded on the weekend so I suggest opting for a weekday session if you love this beach.
Mequon Nature Preserve
8200 W County Line Rd, Mequon, WI 53097
Mequon Nature Preserve is on the border of Milwaukee and Mequon. I like to use the entrance on Swan Rd in between County Line Road and Donges Bay Road. This location offers a lot of tall grass and beautiful mature trees. There is also a giant cornfield in season. It is a great option for those with smaller littles since there are several options for photos right by the parking area. It is also very dog friendly.
Retzer Nature Center
S14 W28167 Madison St, Waukesha, WI 53188
Retzer Nature Center is a great option for those West of Milwaukee. It is also only about a 30 minute drive from the city for those who want to utilize the beautiful trees and hilly landscape. There is a good amount of walking needed to fully take advantage of Retzer. If you decide this is too gorgeous to pass up, then I highly suggest bringing a stroller or carrier for smaller children. This offers several opportunities for photos that incorporate nature as well as a great spot for sunset photos. It is known as "thee" spot for photographers on the weekend so I suggest weekday sessions if possible.
Lion's Den Gorge
511 High Bluff Dr, Grafton, WI 53024
Lion's Den Gorge is located about 20 minutes North of Milwaukee. It has gorgeous walkways filled with all kinds of greenery in the Summer and has a stunning view of the lake from on top the cliffs. There is a very steep, very long staircase that leads down to the water. I have not had any families opt for the water but it has so many options for couples. I would definitely recommend for families with children who love the outdoors and are old enough to navigate stairs on their own for a long period of time. (Get that energy out!)
Kohler Andrae State Park
1020 Beach Park Ln, Sheboygan, WI 53081
Kohler-Andrae State Park is about 45 minutes North of Milwaukee but it feels like a world away. The grand sand dunes and beautiful lakefront are different than any other park or nature center you will see in the area. There are narrow walkways that lead you through the park to give you a break from the sand. It would not be suitable for a stroller. Great for sunsets!
Studio at Fischer Creative Arts Center
223 Maple Ave #103, Waukesha, WI 53186
The Fischer Creative Arts Center is located right by the Carroll University field yards. It offers a great raw space to add personality to any studio session. It is a great option for the times of year that Wisconsin just doesn't want to cooperate with outdoor photos.
When I suggest using your home as the place for photos, almost everyone gets nervous. It's "my house isn't cute" or "my house is so small" or "it's a mess". Whatever the excuse may be - it's your home. It's where you lay your head at night and wake up in the morning. It's where important and every day things happen. You may not live in this home forever and I think it is important to capture how you have made your house a home. I will never ask you to clean or stage your home. I will never judge you. I will only ask you what you love about your home and create images to help you remember that love 30 years from now.
